The WHT AT Keyboard Interface & ROM Upgrade provides your TI 99/4a with a true AT Keyboard Interface to connect your favorite 101+ AT Keyboard to the console. This unique piece of hardware installs inside your computer over the CPU and allows the use of both an AT keyboard and the internal console keyboard simultaneously!
Besides providing the AT interface, this device also upgrades your systems ROM's (where the TI Operating System resides) to correct bugs that affect the use of 80 column cards. Another unique feature is the ability to broaden the CRU scanning range allowing peripheral cards such as the WHT SCSI Card to reside at addresses >600 and up.
Also included on the AT Keyboard Interface is an optional 64K of 0-wait state 16 bit battery backed RAM for programs and data storage*.
No need to worry about the alpha lock as the AT Keyboard Interface does not interfere with gaming in any way! Play head to head with two people on their own keyboard. Put your console on a shelf and never worry about bumping the P-Box connection again!
Installation is not included with the AT Interface and is available for those who do
not wish to do it themselves for an additional $30. Installation is fairly simple for
those experienced with soldering. All installations are made at your own risk, WHT will
not be responsible for damage to your console or AT Interface.
